Safer browsing
The NO MORE Global Directory is designed to help you find trusted, specialist support safely and confidentially, wherever you are in the world. You can use the Directory to identify helplines and services that may be able to help you understand your options and make a safety plan. However, if you are concerned that someone may be monitoring your internet use or devices, it is important to consider how you access the Directory.
Where possible, use a phone, tablet or computer that the person you are concerned about cannot access or monitor. This could be a trusted friend’s device, a safe public computer or another device you know is not connected to theirs. Be mindful that your own device may be linked to, mirrored on or monitored from another device, meaning that someone may be able to see your activity even if they do not have physical access to your phone or computer.
You can use the Quick Escape button to leave the Directory quickly if you need to. Clearing your browsing history or using a private/incognito browser may reduce traces stored on your device, but these measures are not completely private or foolproof. If you believe your device is being monitored, avoid making sudden changes to settings, accounts or monitoring software without specialist advice, as this could alert the person monitoring you.
Your safety comes first. If you are concerned about digital monitoring, consider contacting a specialist service from a device you know is safe. The Global Directory can help you find appropriate support in your country.
